God’s Presence

In the season of isolation and uncertainty due to COVID 19 it is so important to experience God’s presence. His presence in our lives gives us great strength and also affects the lives of other people. His presence is the light that shines in a dark world. A good example of lives being changed by the presence of God is found in the Bible. When King Saul tried to kill David he escaped to the cave of Adullam, their men who were distressed, in debt, and discontented joined him. Later these men became known as David’s mighty men who did outstanding exploits. What happened – they were changed by God’s presence in David’s life. David was a man after God’s own heart who loved being in His presence and was a worshipper of Him. When he had the opportunity to kill Saul twice he would not touch him – he acted righteously. Today we have a great opportunity to live in the presence of God and impact the people around us.
